February 2009 Laura and Charlie will travel to Africa with me for three months to finish my years in medical school. We will be working with Selian Lutheran Hospital in Arusha, Tanzania. We hope to learn a lot, see the country and help where we can. This blog is to keep in touch, and solicit supplies (aka money) to redistribute some of our wealth over to Tanzania in the form of antibiotics, latex gloves, TB masks, etc. Welcome!

The first part of the news!
Eric matched!! Yeah! This is a relief for Eric. I knew he would match...too smart and too good. Anyway, Eric just went to Selian and Charlie and I are kicking the soccer ball in the yard. "Boots" "kick!" "ball!" (that is what Charlie says.)
